This intelligently designed "Scroll Tool" bends and twists virtually any size or shape of material into everything from the tightest bends to the most gradual curves. This tool is excellent for blacksmiths using a gas or coal forge or even when used with an oxygen/acetylene rosebud torch. This Scroll tool sports precision TIG Welds and custom fabrication and is better then any competitors scroll tool because our tool can not only bend, but twist stock of any size. The stout 5/8" square rod goes from totally shut ~ 0" all the way out to a whopping 16". This allows for tight bends or gradual bends of any size stock. The length of the internal rod helps to greatly dissipate heat from the front tong, while the handle body dissipates heat from the rear tong. The length also gives you insane leverage which allows you to work pieces even as they cool. The Square 5/8's Rod locks down in place by the handle which is up and out of the way of the heated items you'll be bending.

     Other scroll wrenches may put a round rod inside a round tube or or a round rod inside a square tube and this is a clear design mistake. The thread-bolt-handle of such a design will not hold the rod inside at the correct vertical angle necessary. Therefore the interal rod will rotate when you go to bend thick material, thus losing all your leverage and ruining your bend. The square stock inside a square handle not only provides excellent grip but will not rotate the front tong because the bolt handle pins it squarely and securely in place. Use our scroll wrench to bend thick 1" hot bar or a 1/4" hot flat, or even 1/16" sheet, it makes no difference, this wrench can do it all. It's 1" sq x 20" long handle works great in giving you good leverage when bending something that has cooled down to dull or slight red and requires some serious yanking. The quality and solidness of this tool won't let you down. The mass of this tool makes it heat up slow and since it's so solid you can easily throw it into a quench bucket to cool it rapidly in between bends, without fear the tool will break. There is a nice steel welded ring on the rear for hanging up when not in use and a hard, black, double coated finish of gloss paint on 80% of the handle. The paint also has high heat and chip resistance.
